Uninstalling McAfee Host Intrusion Prevention (Manual Uninstall Required)

On Local PC open C:\Program Files\McAfee\Host Intrusion Prevention\McAfeeFire.exe

Which will open the following console:

Click on Tasks and Unlock and you will be prompted for the password: default is (ABCDE12345)

Once the password is entered correctly you should be able to uncheck prevention as shown below:

Then go to add and remove programs and uninstall McAfee Host Intrusion Prevention and it will now allow you to uninstall.

  I always recommend using a static IP for network printers. Once you have that configured use the printers web interface by going to that IP address using internet explorer. Select the” Networking” Tab > “IPsec/Firewall” as shown below: First we will add a rule to allow unencrypted traffic from all connections we will later define IPsec rules specific to the print server.
